Online source such as Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the likely features of the upcoming models of the Redmi K50 series. The online source on Weibo says that some handsets in the purported series are likely to come with a Snapdragon 8-series chipset and a high-quality screen. Furthermore, these handsets are likely to feature a large-size battery that supports 67W fast charging, an X-axis motor, and JBL-powered stereo speakers. The source further revealed that these features are likely to appear in Redmi K50 Pro+ and K50 Pro models. The past leaks state that all the handsets of the Redmi K50 series may sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. The earlier leaks also revealed a 48-megapixel primary camera on the rear side of Redmi K50 and a 50-megapixel primary camera for the Redmi K50 Pro. The earlier leaks also suggested the presence of up to 100W fast-charging port in other models of the Remi K50 series.

The reputed mobile maker Xiaomi had rolled out Xiaomi 11T Pro and 11T mobile handset models in the global market in September 2021. In connection with this, there was a rumor that the company might launch Xiaomi 11T as Redmi K40S. However, the Chinese mobile maker has chosen to decline the Redmi K40S launch. Though there were speculations about the Redmi mobile, there is no clarity on the featuring of Snapdragon 8-series SoC in the upcoming models of the K50 series.
